StuFund Launches StuFund Office Solutions - S.O.S.
StuFund Marketing (StuFund) announced the launch of its new line of fee-based services to assist College Financial Aid and Admissions offices. StuFund Office Solutions (S.O.S.) offers a broad range of advisory and consulting services to assist these offices to work more efficiently in spite of budgetary and staffing constraints. At the same time, these services allow opportunity for these departments to introduce new and innovative programming for enrolled students.
In the face of reduced budgets, increased applications and changes to the federal student loan program, many college administrators find themselves having to make tough decisions in prioritizing the services they are able to offer their students.
S.O.S enables colleges to continue to focus on their mission while outsourcing those functions that can be handled more efficiently and at a lower cost than traditional means. This frees up valuable time that can be spent on delivering mission critical services to your students. Our online help desk answers students’ inquiries about financial aid application, assists in completing applications and follows up on incomplete applications. Our initial Operational Assessment provides crucial information which identifies areas of deficiency, operational inefficiency and potential risk and then works with the school to find cost effective ways of mediating risk or remediating deficiency. Our team of knowledgeable and experienced consultants is available to provide on campus entrance and exit counseling for federal loans, seminars on debt management, default prevention and financial literacy. Our consultants are also available to provide assistance during Freshman Orientation and Registration.
S.O.S. is headed up by Donna M. Sotolongo, Managing Partner of StuFund Marketing and Director of the StuFund Knowledge Center and Curtis L. Johnson, President and COO of StuFund and Managing Director of StuFund Marketing. Each has over thirty years of experience in higher education.
